October email: Sexy yard sale
Many years ago when I was a mere lass, I worked in HR. I was probably the worst HR employee ever because I cannot keep a secret to save my life, but I didn't know that yet so there I was. Anyway, one year I ended up organizing the company's annual Halloween costume contest, which meant that I had to dress up and actually participate. For the record: I'm not a Halloween person, but I wanted to do a good job so I put on my junior prom dress and my sister made me a sash so I could crown myself: Miss Comcast Silicon Valley. It was my first foray into performance art.
