Based on illuminated manuscripts, 'The Tree of Audrey' is a takeoff on a Jesse Tree, which tells the story of the ancestry of Jesus Christ starting with Jesse, father of King David. I reimagined the aristocratic roots of Christ as celebrities stemming from Audrey Hepburn in the 1950s to the 1960s: Priscilla Presley, Virna Lisi, Jean Shrimpton, Cathering DeNeuve, Sylvie Vartan and Twiggy.
